He was born in Grappenhall in the north of England, on April 19, 1946. He moved to LA in 1986 because of the fame, fortune and cameras??h of his parents are dead, his father died when he was 12 and his mother died in June, 1999 after living with cancer for two years. Tim and his sister were there when she passed away in England.
Surprisingly, his family weren?n the Theater. His father was a Methodist minister in the navy, his rather was a miner Tim?other worked for the Methodist Education board and her father worked in the dockyard in Plymouth. "My mother grew up in Hong Kong (I used to live there! Yay, Heng Fa Villa!); she and my father met each other in Malta and got married in Egypt. We moved every 18 months; I was a real service brat. I went to Hong Kong when I was 6 months old and came back when I was about 2 1/2. After we came back from Hong Kong, which was just 2 1/2 years after the war, we lived around the English ports: Plymouth, Portsmouth, Cheshire." His Favourite singer is Billie Holiday and his favourite performer is Peter Sellers.
